Cassa Rurale Rotaliana e Giovo

Eticittà

Illustrations for the employee’s handbook, organizer and social currency for Eticittà, a project by Cassa Rurale Rotaliana e Giovo bank. Eticittà is an imaginary city representing the cooperative’s core values. Each neighbourhood symbolised a principle such as reciprocity, common good, or knowledge. I also designed the “ethical bill,” a symbolic currency used within the system.

This project has been juried into the Italian Illustration Annual and Longlisted for the World Illustration Awards.

Art Direction: Lorenzo Cattoni and Caterina Gasperi

Social Currency

In Eticittà, money as we know it does not exist because Cassa Rurale Rotaliana e Giovo issues its own currency. Something fondly called the “ethical bill,” which everyone can get and easily share with others.

The Organizer

The organizer was created to share the stories of Eticittà, each month highlighting a different neighborhood and the people and places that make it unique
